Nilgiri Tea
The beverage known as Nilgiri tea is created by steeping Camellia sinensis leaves that are cultivated and prepared in the Nilgiris region of Tamil Nadu, India. Due to its greater resistance to clouding than most teas, this tea is especially well suited for making iced tea. This tea is comparable to Darjeeling and Assam tea. With notes of dusk orchid and woody plums, the tea offers strong fruity and flowery tastes that are well-balanced in a delicate body. This black tea brews to a vivid golden color and doesn't have any overpowering astringency characteristics. The tea leaves a nutty and spicy aftertaste.
