Assam Tea
Assam is a black tea from India, where it is produced. It is well renowned for both its numerous possible health advantages and its rich, malty flavor. Since Assam tea naturally contains a lot of caffeine, it is commonly promoted as a breakfast tea. Assam is a blend that is used in a lot of Irish and English breakfast teas.
Fresh Assam tea leaves are collected, wilted, and then put through an oxidation process, also known as fermentation, where they are exposed to oxygen in a temperature-controlled setting for a predetermined amount of time.
